Life during the last five months of 2020 has been surreal. We commiserate with all the couples who planned to get married this year. We can only imagine the disappointment of not being able to live out that dream wedding.

No doubt the 2020's wedding party will be stripped down to the most essential people. There will be the bride and groom (of course), the presider, the couple's parent and a handful of witnesses. Couples may opt for a naked or semi-naked cake. For these cakes, our Signature Carrot Walnut and Apple Walnut are the go to flavors. The Carrot Walnut has been a consistent favorite among our couples. The Gamboa-Santiago cake was a Carrot Walnut Cake. It measured 6'' dia x 5'' ht. It had a thin spread of icing and was decorated with simple fresh flowers and leaves.

The naked cake was a 5''dia x 6''ht Carrot Walnut Cake with thin spread of whipped cream and cream cheese in between layers. It was topped with multi-colored sugar flowers.

Or opt for a whipped cream covered cake covered with delicate icing patterns. This style allows the client to choose any flavor from our Signature Flavors to for the wedding cake. The Tarta San Marco and Strawberry Shortcake are the light chiffon cakes that have always been a favorite among our couples. Ms. Lily's event featured a whipped cream covered cake with graded red color icing. It measured 6''dia x 5'' ht. It was decorated with fresh red and white roses and berries.

Here is another whipped cream covered cake 6''dia x 5''ht. It is decorated with a single white sugar flower .
This is 2 tier whipped cream covered cake. Top cake was 6''dia x 5''ht and base cake was 9''dia x 5''ht. The cake was decorated with fresh flowers. Initials of J & J were delicately hand piped on the base of the cake.

We truly believe that a grand wedding does not make an enduring marriage. The grand wedding is but a send off for two people hoping to get to the finish line of the marathon called marriage.
