     I am Joy, a working pastry chef.

    I have been baking since I got back from the California Culinary Academy (CCA), San Francisco, California in 1996. I knew I found my life's calling when I baked and decorated my first wedding cake for a friend in 1997. Since then, I had the honor of being a part of over a hundred celebrations be it weddings, debuts, birthdays, and anniversaries as my client's cake maker of choice. 


      Joybakes is my baby. It is my dream professional bread and cake shop.  Today, my passion lies in personally baking breads and cakes that leave a lasting taste impression for Joybakes patrons. Let me bake for you and share my passion on your next celebration.
